How about dropping everything and going… to a forest? And preferably to the Janowskie Forests, which are part of the vast Solska Forest, one of the largest dense forest complexes in Europe. HRUBIESZÓW LAND
The Hrubieszów Land is an extremely picturesque and still undiscovered nook of Poland, in the south-eastern part of the Lublin Voivodeship. It's a perfect place for a family holiday, away from the everyday city noise. A unique place is the reconstructed Goth Village in Masłomęcz, where the then capital of the region was founded by the Goths in the 2nd century AD.
ŁUKÓW LAND
The unique natural and cultural values of the Łuków Land and the 330-kilometre network of bicycle trails make it a perfect destination for fans of active tourism. The Regional Museum in Łuków owns a rich collection of peculiar fossils from millions of years ago - the ammonites. These creatures remember the times of the dinosaurs. After the archeology lesson, it's time for some obligatory reading - "In Desert and Wilderness". It so happens that it's author, Henryk Sienkiewicz, was born in nearby Wola Okrzejska, where the Museum dedicated to the writer is now located. For good fun, it is worth going to the "Amonit" Recreation and Educational Forest Complex in Klimki. There are also many attractions around the Zimna Woda Reservoir.
