Roztocze with the title of Polish Tourist Brand! At an award ceremony in Warsaw on the 27 of February 2024, the Ministry of Sport and Tourism together with the Polish Tourist Organisation honoured the Roztocze Brand, managed by the Lublin Regional Tourist Organisation, with the prestigious title of Polish Tourism Brand. Vice President of LROT Management Board Marcin Kania and LROT Office Director Dorota Lachowska received the Polish Tourism Brand statuette from the hands of Deputy Minister of Sport and Tourism Piotr Borys and President of the Polish Tourist Organisation Rafał Szmytke.

 

The unique title is confirmation of the high quality and tourist attractiveness of the Roztocze area. Thanks to the consistent efforts of LROT and its partners, it has been possible to create a trans-regional brand with an individual visual identification system. Receiving the award is not only an appreciation of the successes to date, but also a key impulse for further development and intensive promotion of Roztocze.

Roztocze has thus joined the elite group of 12 tourism brands awarded throughout the country. The title is also held by: Beskidy Mountains, Land of Loess Gorges, Lublin, Cieszyn Silesia, Toruń, Poznań, Łódź, EnoTarnowskie, Jura Krakowsko-Częstochowska, Sopot and Kraina Górnej Odry.

The idea of the Polish Tourist Brands project is to create a catalogue of the most attractive Polish regions and tourist routes, which will be professionally managed and promoted. Managers of territorial tourist brands receive advisory and expert support, as well as assistance in preparing and positioning high-quality promotional materials.
